$2000 raised at the 2006 Gorilla Workshop hosted by the Paignton Zoo was stipulated to be used for travel grants. After much discussion we have decided to award two travel grants in the amount of $1,000 each. In addition, the Brevard Zoo will offer an additional $500 grant to a third applicant. In order to qualify you must present a paper at the Workshop. Funds can be used for the following: Registration fee, Hotel room for 5 nights (no food, internet fees or phone calls), or Cost of airline ticket We are looking for people that would not otherwise be able to attend the Workshop without some financial support. And they must work directly with gorillas either at a zoo, sanctuary or as a researcher studying wild populations. Please fill in the following in order to be considered for funds.
